Frequently Asked Questions

  • When will my order arrive?

Your order will be delivered on or before the date of your selected delivery option.

  • Do I need to be there for delivery?

As long as the driver can get full and safe access to the tank, we do not need you to be there.

We ask that you provide access from the moment of ordering as the delivery can be made at any point before or on your delivery date.

  • Can I cancel/amend my order?

If for any reason you need to cancel/amend your order, or need to let us know about any changes in circumstances that will affect your delivery, please contact us on 028 92 676 577.

  • What happens if I miss my delivery?

If, for any reason, we have been unable to complete your delivery, we will endeavour to contact you first, before attempting again. If we are unable to do so, we will place your delivery on hold until we hear from you. We do reserve the right to cancel an order should this not happen in a timely fashion.

  • Do you do evening or weekend deliveries?

All deliveries take place Mon-Fri between 8am and 5pm. At peak times of the year, a Saturday delivery will be available. If for any reason these times do not suit, please contact us directly and we will do our best to work with your schedule.

  • Can I pay cash for my delivery?

All orders placed online must be prepaid. If you wish to pay cash on delivery, please contact the office on 028 92 676 577.

  • What areas do you cover?

We cover BT1-21, BT23-33, BT36-39, BT41 & BT62-67. This includes the greater Belfast Area, Lisburn, Newtownabbey, Carrickfergus, Antrim, Crumlin, Moira, Lurgan, Portadown, Ballynahinch, Downpatrick, Dromore & Banbridge

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer deliveries outside of these areas.

  • I live on a narrow street/lane, can you still deliver?

If you are unsure at all about your particular street/lane, please contact us on 028 92 676 577 before you place the order as we will be able to advise if we will be able to make your delivery or not. If not, we can point you in the direction of someone with a mini tanker who will be able to help.

  • Do you do through house deliveries?

Yes, we can make through house deliveries. We ask that you please provide us with this information when placing the order, so we can plan our routes accordingly. You will need to provide a clear and safe path through the property for the driver prior to delivery. Failure to do so may result in us being unable to complete the delivery.

  • I have a dog/cat/hamster/hippo, can you still deliver?

As our delivery drivers need to leave gates open for access, we strongly recommend that prior to the delivery, any animal is contained in a safe area. We also emphasize the need for any excrement to be cleared before we arrive. Failure to do so may result in us being unable to complete the delivery.

  • What kind of oil do I need?

We sell only the one kind of home heating oil, but the confusion can come from the different names it goes by. Heating oil is also known as kerosene, 28 sec & domestic oil.

  • What other fuels do you deliver?

As well as supplying heating oil for domestic use, we also supply bulk deliveries of Kerosene, Gasoil (red diesel) and Derv (white diesel) for agricultural and commercial purposes. Please call us on 02892676577 for a very competitive quote.

  • My tank didn’t take the full amount, what happens next?

All payments made through the site will initially put a hold on the money with your bank. The transaction is then completed once the delivery has been done. If your tank does not hold the full amount, any difference in the money is adjusted automatically at your bank. We price each order pro rata to the nearest hundred litres, so if you order 900 and only hold 510, you will pay slightly more per litre.

  • How do I know how much has been delivered?

On your delivery docket, there will be a printout from the lorry displaying the date, time and number of litres in your delivery. The meters on our lorries are set by Weights & Measures, so you can be assured of their accuracy.
